    Had a good day in beautiful countryside,was nice to see some stunning artefacts show.
    Loved the little figurine,it would be nice to learn more about it.
    If anyone is a coin boffin I would appreciate some help identifying the hammered I found today.

    its looks more like a HENRY VIII Groat, minted 1509-26 ,rather than a HENRY VII. great find well done .

    Hi Rich, the coin is lovely and I can see it now in all its glory! I didn’t have my glasses on when I saw it in the field lol. Very well done.

    well i think its an Henry VIII groat but the portrait is Henry VII so its confusing and as mentioned 1509 to 1526 , its a gorgeous coin thanks for sharing the picture
