    Hi,

Item 2 for ID if you can help please. I did think Palm guard but should there be a hole in the centre?

The front is convex, the back is very pitted and looks like it was originally flat.At its thickest point it is 9mm.

    Thankyou

dont think its a palm guard, but a few of these tied around the edge of a rabbit net would do the job,the nets were placed over a rabbit hole and when the rabbit bolted it would get tangled up.

just like too add they are still used today, with ferrits put down a hole to chase rabbit and when they ran out they were caught in the net.hunter would spread a few nets around to ensure the rabbit got caught in one of them.
